Sylvette de Aldrey Krause (1931-2025) studied at the Whitney School of Art and the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid before settling in Princeton, NJ. Working in oil, pastel, and pencil, her art blended figurative and abstract styles with strong, lyrical line work and rich, textured colors influenced by her Spanish heritage.
