Selma Moskowitz (1928-2018)

Selma Moskowitz (b. 1928, Brooklyn, NY) was an American artist and educator whose practice bridged art and psychoanalysis. She studied at UC Berkeley, Chouinard Art Institute, and UCLA, where she earned both her M.A. (1963) and M.F.A. (1965). Her work reflects a deep engagement with form, psychology, and creative expression, inspiring both her students and contemporaries.

Sonia Chusit

Sonia Chusit (1926-2023) Sonia Chusit was a painter and watercolorist whose work gained regional and national recognition in the mid-20th century. She studied at New York’s Music and Art High School, trained with Rufino Tamayo at the Brooklyn Museum, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cooper Union.
